According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 36.35 square miles (94.15 km2), of which, 35.32 square miles (91.48 km2) of it is land and 1.03 square miles (2.67 km2) is water. Baldwin is drained by Breakneck Brook and the Saco River.
