According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 48.75 square miles (126.26 sq km), of which, 47.78 square miles (123.75 sq km) of it is land and 0.97 square miles (2.51 sq km) is water.

Demographics[]

As of the census of 2010, there were 20,798 people, 8,500 households, and 5,417 families residing in the town. The racial makeup of the town was 94.7% White, 0.6% African American, 0.4% Native American, 2.0% Asian, 0.3% from other races, and 2.0% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.6% of the population.
